On October 30, 2018, Pell City police conducted a welfare check at the residence of Jennifer Lynn Grap, 39, and her husband, Patrick Wayne Grap, 47, after Jennifer failed to report to work. Upon arrival at their home on Seddon Farms Lane, officers observed a body through a window and subsequently entered the secured residence. Inside, they discovered both Jennifer and Patrick deceased from gunshot wounds.
