On June 11, 2023, 28-year-old Basile Darby was involved in a fatal shooting incident at Felicity's Bar and Grill on Fairfield Road in Columbia, South Carolina. The Richland County Sheriff's Department initially responded to reports of a shooting at the establishment around 6:00 AM.
Upon arrival, deputies found Darby with a gunshot wound lying on the ramp leading up to the business. He was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
