In the late hours of a Friday night in Columbia, South Carolina, the life of Christopher Edward Orr, a 56-year-old man, was brought to an abrupt and violent end. On August 31, 2018, in a home on Robinwood Road, Orr was fatally shot in the torso. The Richland County Coroner's Office confirmed his identity and the cause of his death following an autopsy. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting, which occurred at approximately 11 p.m.
