On September 23, 2023, at approximately 7 a.m., 24-year-old Gervamieon S. Moody was fatally shot while sleeping at a residence in the 2000 block of Capitol View Road in Lexington County, South Carolina. According to the Lexington County Coroner's Office, Moody sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body and was pronounced dead at the scene.
