On November 14, 2023, 33-year-old Perry Teevon Smith, known affectionately as "Pelow," was fatally shot at the Mercy Circle apartments in Hardeeville, South Carolina. The Hardeeville Police Department responded to a call at approximately 1:37 a.m. and discovered Smith deceased at the scene from a gunshot wound.
