In the early morning hours of December 15, 2019, the life of 35-year-old Kewayne Lee of Hardeeville, South Carolina, was tragically cut short. Responding to reports of a shooting at The Brown Derby club on Speedway Boulevard, Jasper County Sheriff's deputies discovered Lee inside a car, suffering from several gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services were rendered at the scene before he was transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia, where he ultimately
succumbed to his injuries.
The investigation into the shooting led authorities to 26-year-old Treivon Clifton Jenkins, also a resident of Hardeeville.
