In the summer of 2016, the life of 23-year-old Javon Vincent Winston of Bluffton, South Carolina, was tragically cut short. On July 26th, his body was discovered in a ditch off Cooks Landing Road in the nearby town of Hardeeville. An autopsy would later confirm the grim reality: Winston had been shot multiple times, and his death was ruled a homicide.
