In the early morning hours of October 25, 2020, a dispute at a Hardeeville, South Carolina nightclub called Club Karma escalated to a fatal shooting. Paul Rashamel Miles Jr., a 30-year-old male, was shot multiple times in the nightclub's parking lot by a security guard. Miles was transported to a hospital in nearby Savannah, Georgia, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
