Death by Force

On December 6, 2023, 21-year-old Bethanylynn Estelle Shaw, a Darlington County 911 dispatcher, was fatally shot at her residence on Timmonsville Highway in Darlington, South Carolina. The incident occurred around 5:15 p.m., and Shaw was pronounced dead at the scene by Darlington County Coroner J. Todd Hardee.
