On December 22, 2023, 26-year-old Rasheen Devon Dupont of Bluffton, South Carolina, was fatally shot in a shopping center parking lot at 1460 Fording Island Road. The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of gunfire shortly after 10:30 p.m. and discovered Dupont deceased at the scene.

In the same incident, authorities found 18-year-old Omarion Garvin of St. Helena Island lying in the road near Buckingham Plantation Drive; he was pronounced dead at the scene. Additionall ...Read More
