In the quiet community of Bluffton, South Carolina, the evening of October 18, 2022, was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the life of 57-year-old Mark Tony Haynes. A male resident of the area, Haynes was a man whose sudden and tragic death would leave a mark on the community. That Tuesday evening, at approximately 8:29 p.m., Bluffton Police Officers were dispatched to a distressing scene at 191 Buck Island Road, where they discovered Haynes suffering from three gunshot wounds.
