On February 14, 2024, 33-year-old William "Willie" Whitaker Stewart was fatally shot in Bluffton, South Carolina. The incident occurred in the New Hope Village area, where Stewart and 34-year-old Roshaun Middleton were found deceased from gunshot wounds.
