On December 27, 2023, at approximately 4:20 p.m., Lancaster Police Department officers responded to a shooting incident on Willow Lake Road in Lancaster, South Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 42-year-old Troy Moore lying in the roadway with a gunshot wound. Moore was promptly transported to the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Lancaster, where he succumbed to his injuries.
