Death by Force

On February 4, 2024, 35-year-old Westley Rodregus Vaughn was found deceased in Sumter, South Carolina. Officers from the Sumter Police Department responded to a call about a suspicious person around 9 a.m. and discovered Vaughn's body in the 100 block of Carver Street. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Vaughn was last seen walking from his home to a nearby convenience store late the previous evening.
