On February 28, 2024, a tragic incident unfolded in Blacksburg, South Carolina, resulting in the deaths of 45-year-old Shenita Merchelle Roberts and her 49-year-old brother, Darriach Derowne Mack. The siblings were fatally shot during a domestic dispute at a residence on Pearson Street around 10:20 a.m. Authorities identified the assailant as Shenita's husband, 49-year-old Sajad Damon Roberts.
