Ja'Pree De'Shawn Marcus, a 19-year-old resident of Tacoma, Washington, tragically lost his life in a shooting incident on July 31, 2024. The fatal event occurred near the intersection of 119th Street South and Pacific Avenue South in Parkland, Pierce County. Deputies responding to reports of a shooting at 6:39 p.m. found Marcus's body on Pacific Avenue, along with multiple shell casings and a firearm left in the road.
