On March 10, 2024, 32-year-old Tyler Tanner was fatally shot on Barnwell Road in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. Deputies from the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene around 3:30 p.m., where they found Tanner lying beside a vehicle, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
