In the winter of 2021, the life of 58-year-old Charles LeRoy Foster of Spartanburg, South Carolina, was tragically cut short. On January 15th of that year, Foster was fatally shot at a residence on Asheville Highway. An altercation preceded the deadly shooting, marking a violent end to what began as a dispute. This incident was recorded as the first homicide of the year in Spartanburg.
