On April 13, 2024, 20-year-old Omarion Lemont Brown was found deceased inside his burned vehicle on Koester Road in Ladson, South Carolina. Responding to reports of a vehicle fire, Charleston County Sheriff's Office deputies discovered Brown's body after extinguishing the flames. An autopsy later revealed that Brown had been shot twice in the chest and showed no signs of smoke inhalation, indicating he was deceased before the vehicle was set ablaze.
