In the quiet community of Ladson, South Carolina, the life of 35-year-old Lance Laprince Grayson, a Black male, was tragically cut short on the evening of March 2, 2015. On that Monday evening, at
the M&S Mobile Home Park, an altercation broke out that shattered the neighborhood's peace. According to witnesses, an argument escalated, leading to a fatal confrontation. It was during this dispute that Travis Vinson, a 30-year-old man from Summerville, allegedly brandished a handgun and fired at Grayson. The single gunshot wound proved to be fatal.
Following the shooting, emergency services were dispatched to the scene. Lance Laprince Grayson was rushed to a nearby hospital, where medical staff worked diligently to save his life.
