On a Tuesday evening, September 27, 2022, the life of 24-year-old Tymel Howard was cut short in Ladson, South Carolina. He was a Black/African American male. Reports of gunshots drew North Charleston Police to the Cypress River Apartments on Blue House Road around 9:30 p.m. As officers arrived, they witnessed a vehicle speeding away from the scene. Inside a car, they discovered Howard's lifeless body.
