On a Friday evening in Summerville, South Carolina, tragedy struck, leaving a young man's life cut short. Twenty-one-year-old Jordan E. Avery, a Black male, was found fatally shot inside a parked vehicle on May 10, 2024. The Summerville Police Department received a call about a shooting at the Villas of Summerville apartment complex located on Boone Hill Road. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Avery deceased at the scene.
