In a tragic turn of events on April 19, 2024, 19-year-old Ashton Pugh and another teenager were found deceased inside a vehicle in the parking lot of the Gates of Summerville apartment complex on Boone Hill Road in Summerville, South Carolina. The discovery prompted an immediate homicide investigation by the Summerville Police Department.
