On June 25, 2024, 60-year-old Robert Todd Bailey was fatally shot outside his residence in the 1000 block of Calvary Church Road in Swansea, South Carolina. The incident occurred before daybreak, prompting deputies from the Lexington County Sheriff's Department to respond to reports of a shooting.
