In the early morning hours of April 8, 2015, the quiet community of Swansea, South Carolina, was disturbed by an act of violence that claimed the life of 41-year-old Larry Bryan Williams. A male resident of the area, Williams was fatally shot at a home on Sam Austin Road in the North community of Swansea. The Lexington County Sheriff's Department was alerted to the incident at approximately 5:30 a.m. and promptly began an investigation into what they considered a homicide.
