William Travis Madden, a 35-year-old man, was fatally shot in Greenville, South Carolina, in the early morning hours of Friday, June 28, 2024. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. along Aklavik Court, where an argument between Madden and another individual escalated.
During the dispute, Austin Kellum allegedly produced a firearm and shot Madden. Deputies responded to the scene and subsequently arrested Kellum in connection with the deadly shooting.

He had been with his significant other, Stephanie Tra'Dale Pace, for 18 years. He enjoyed spending his free time four-wheeling with his son and drag racing. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Reedy Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church.
