On August 21, 2024, at approximately 2 a.m., the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) Communications Center received a call about a woman found lying on Langford Road on Saint Helena Island, South Carolina. When deputies arrived at the scene, they discovered 33-year-old Stephanie Campbell deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.
