On May 22, 2023, 16-year-old Denasia Monae McGregory was reported missing from her home in Prairie, Mississippi. Tragically, in the early hours of May 23, her body was discovered in the trunk of her own car near a daycare center in Tupelo, approximately 30 miles from her residence. Evidence indicated that Denasia had been fatally shot.
