In the summer of 2021, the life of 21-year-old Jessica Pannell, a bright and beloved Black female from Tupelo, Mississippi, was tragically cut short. On the night of July 24th, Pannell was one of three young adults killed in a hail of gunfire at a party on Maynard Street.
