In a quiet neighborhood in Jackson, Mississippi, the life of 14-year-old Jermaine McDonald was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire. On the evening of Sunday, May 28, 2023, Jermaine was shot multiple times on University Boulevard. He was rushed to the hospital, where he fought for his life for a week before succumbing to his injuries on June 4, 2023. Jermaine was a young male whose time was tragically cut short.
