In the quiet community of Maben, Mississippi, a tragedy unfolded in December 2023, forever altering the lives of one family. Forty-eight-year-old Lou Anda Jones was found dead in her home on A.W. Williams Road on December 5th, the victim of a fatal gunshot wound. Her brother made the grim discovery after family members grew concerned when they hadn't heard from her for a couple of days. The initial investigation by the Oktibbeha County Sheriff's Department revealed she had been shot in the back. ...
