Lou Anda Jones, a 48-year-old woman from Maben, Mississippi, was found dead in her home on A.W. Williams Road in Oktibbeha County on December 5, 2023. Jones' body was discovered by her brother, who had gone to check on her after being unable to reach her. The Oktibbeha County Coroner, Michael Hunt, identified the victim and confirmed that she had been shot in the back.
