On the afternoon of December 31, 2024, the life of 24-year-old Alexis Deshanna House of Toomsuba, Mississippi, was tragically cut short. Deputies from the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department responded to an emergency call at approximately 1:51 p.m. reporting a shooting at a home located in the 4000 block of York Road. Upon their arrival, they discovered House inside the residence, lying on the floor with a single gunshot wound to her head.
