Alexis Deshanna House, a 24-year-old African American female from Toomsuba, Mississippi, tragically lost her life in a fatal shooting on December 31, 2024. The incident occurred in the 4000 block of York Road in Lauderdale County, Mississippi, in the early afternoon. Authorities responded to a call from Metro Ambulance at approximately 1:51 p.m., reporting that an individual had been shot.
