On April 23, 2024, the body of 25-year-old Ashanti Jade Turner was discovered outside an abandoned duplex on Industrial Street in Columbus, Mississippi. Authorities believe her body had been there overnight. The Lowndes County Coroner confirmed her identity and ruled the death a homicide.
