Death by Force

On May 12, 2024, 17-year-old Trenarius Dixon and his classmate, 17-year-old La’Shayia Stewart, were found deceased inside a vehicle on the southbound side of Interstate 55 near the Gallman exit in Copiah County, Mississippi. Both were students at Hazlehurst High School, with Dixon being a senior just days away from graduation.
