Demetris Harris Jr., a 23-year-old resident of Macon, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on May 29, 2024. According to reports, he was shot once in the abdomen while driving down Washington Street. Following the incident, he was transported to Noxubee General Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
