Marcus "MJ" Daniels Jr., a 21-year-old football player for the University of Southern Mississippi, was tragically shot and killed on June 11, 2024, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Daniels was found unresponsive in his vehicle at the Ivy Row Apartments, an off-campus apartment complex.
