Montrell Baker, a 20-year-old resident of Bassfield, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on May 12, 2020, following a shooting incident in Lamar County. According to reports, the Lamar County Sheriff's Office received a call about a shooting on Hillcrest Drive near an apartment complex at approximately 7:28 p.m. Witnesses reported hearing three gunshots and the sound of a crash.
