On June 22, 2024, William Young, a 23-year-old man from Brookhaven, Mississippi, tragically lost his life in a shooting incident. The fatal event occurred around 8:05 p.m. at an apartment complex located at 209 Pennington Street, near its intersection with Furr Avenue.
