Romero Hampton, a 21-year-old resident of Tupelo, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on July 29, 2024, in a shooting incident at Hilldale Apartments on Monument Drive. The Tupelo Police Department responded to a call of shots fired at the apartment complex shortly after 10:30 PM. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots and subsequently found Hampton lying on the ground.
