Jermaine Berghuis, a 34-year-old resident of Pontotoc, Mississippi, tragically lost his life following a shooting incident in Tupelo, Mississippi. On February 5, 2021, Berghuis was attending a party at a residence on Lakeview Drive when he was shot multiple times. He was found wounded inside the house and was immediately taken to a local hospital. Despite medical efforts, Berghuis succumbed to his injuries on March 8, 2021, approximately one month after the shooting.
