Leah Marie Gomez, a 22-year-old mother from Wyoming, Michigan, was tragically shot and killed on May 31, 2023, in downtown Grand Rapids. The incident occurred while she was sitting in her parked car along Commerce Avenue SW, with her 21-month-old daughter in the backseat.
