In the evening hours of Sunday, July 23, 2023, a shooting shattered the peace at the Concord Place Apartments in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Davion Lamar Johnson, a 21-year-old male, was struck by gunfire around 8:15 p.m. at the complex located on West KL Avenue. Emergency services responded, and he was quickly transported to Bronson Methodist Hospital for medical attention. Despite the efforts of the medical staff, he succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
