Joseph Enrique Martinez, a 30-year-old man, tragically lost his life on the evening of November 27, 2023, in a shooting that unfolded in Lansing, Michigan. The fatal incident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. in the parking lot of the South Lansing library branch in Everett Plaza. After being shot, Martinez managed to make his way into the library, seeking assistance.
