In March of 2023, a verbal dispute in Baltimore's Upton neighborhood tragically escalated, resulting in the death of 32-year-old Juan Hill. The incident, which unfolded on March 12th outside the Harlem Mini Mart on Pennsylvania Avenue, began as an argument between 21-year-old Kishawn Brooks, the mother of his child, and his current girlfriend. The altercation turned violent when Brooks allegedly began to physically assault the mother of his child.
