Tobias Cunningham, a 50-year-old Black male, was gunned down just blocks from the downtown area, leaving his loved ones to grapple with an unimaginable loss. The firstborn son in his family, Cunningham was also a devoted father and grandfather, a man described by his relatives as the glue that held them together.
The fatal encounter occurred shortly after 2 a.m.
on May 25, 2025. Baltimore Police officers were called to the 400 block of North Paca Street, where they discovered Cunningham suffering from a gunshot wound.
