On March 22, 2023, a shooting incident in the 2400 block of Maisel Court in Baltimore, MD, claimed the life of 26-year-old De'Angelo Carter. Carter, a Black male, was found at approximately 4:59 p.m. suffering from gunshot wounds.
Emergency services transported Carter to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center for medical attention. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The cause of his death was officially ruled as a homicide by shooting. At the time of this writing, authorities have not publicly identified any suspects or made any arrests in connection with the shooting. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding De'Angelo Carter's death remains ongoing.
