James Lebar, a 35-year-old resident of Baltimore, Maryland, was tragically killed on May 13, 2020. The incident occurred at his home in the 300 block of East University Parkway. According to police reports, James Lebar was shot by 84-year-old Michael Franko, who then turned the gun on himself in an apparent murder-suicide. The relationship between Lebar and Franko was described as challenging, with Lebar having lived in Franko's basement for several years.
