In the summer of 2002, on June 17th, a violent encounter on the 900 block of Hillman Street in Baltimore would set in motion a chain of events that would culminate in a death being declared a homicide over two decades later. The victim of this initial act of violence was Reginald White, a Black male who was shot during the incident. For years, he lived with the consequences of that day.
