On March 30, 2023, Steven Mouring, a 44-year-old resident of Suitland, Maryland, was fatally shot during an argument with his nephew, Daquan White, 26. The incident occurred around 1:50 PM near the 8500 block of Greenbelt Road in Greenbelt, Maryland. Upon arrival, police found Mouring with gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene shortly thereafter.
