In the early morning hours of September 18, 2018, the life of 26-year-old Lamont Woods was tragically cut short in Greenbelt, Maryland. Police responded to a report of a shooting at an apartment building on the 7000 block of Hanover Parkway at approximately 2:15 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Woods in a stairwell, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead a short time later.
